A Year of Firsts - 2022 is Expected to Be Big for the Florida Space Coast

Melbourne, Fla.—The Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral will see big projects this new year! The expectations are very high for missions that have been building over the years.
In February, Artemis One is set to launch the first in NASA’s deep space exploration mission with the most powerful rocket in the world. Although it’s been built to carry humans, this mission will be tested unmanned and will go farther than any other spacecraft of its type.
As a part of the concept to grow the space flight industry on the coast for private company competition, SpaceX announced that it has restarted working on launch pad 39A for its large Starship. There will be busy pads located in both the Kennedy Space Center, and the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Boeing is also expected to join the human launch capability, along with hundreds of smaller launches that will drive the need to expand the supply chain. 2022 could see five companies performing regular launches from Cape Canaveral with many more from Kennedy.
The region is expected to set records if this type of growth continues its pace for the next few years.
Space exploration also has collateral benefits for businesses in the area who will see an increase in business traffic, tourism, hospitality, and transportation industries. Opening March 2022, explore the future of space exploration in Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex— where the public can experience the interstellar travel of tomorrow while celebrating what is happening right now within the space program.
Commercial transportation being an area to watch for real opportunities. Regardless of whether your company 18 Wheelers drive across the country or serve just a few states in the region, the right types of commercial auto insurance are crucial for protecting your assets.
Commercial auto liability coverage provides protection for any business-owned or leased commercial vehicle. Policies usually include collision and damage coverage as well as coverage for property and personal damage to others. The coverage your business need depends on the type of business you are in and the perceived risk associated with it, so it would be different if you need a commercial vehicle for tourist transportation, or if your business hauls cargo for ships or any other industries performing in the Space Coast. It is always important to consult a local, knowledgeable insurance agent that could help you get the proper coverage for your business assets and overall protection at the best possible price.
